Weekly Roundup - Opening 11/26

The weekly roundup comes early this week thanks to all the movies opening up on Thanksgiving Thursday instead of Friday night. Picking a movie to recommend isn't too hard this week, considering that there's a highly-hyped but falling-short epic (Australia), a sure fire Oscar contender (Milk), a generic crapfest Christmas movie (Four Christmases), and an unoriginal trashtastic action sequel (Transporter 3).

Weekend Suggestion:

Milk is the choice of the week. It's been getting rave reviews and will be a sure bet around Oscar time, so go see it.

My Response: Want to see Jason Statham kick some bad guy butt without much plot or character development? If yes, then this is the movie for you! And make that a double yes if you want a movie directed by the guy who may just be Optimus Prime's biggest enemy....I'm just sayin'. And look at the posters for the 3 Transporter movies:


If they couldn't even change the poster, how much different do you think the movie is?? Skip it.
